VOTING INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE GENERAL MEMBERS’ MEETING (ALV)
Beheervereniging Mariastichting & VvE Parkeergarage Mariastichting
Since, under the articles of association of the Beheervereniging Mariastichting and the VvE Parkeergarage, a different voting procedure applies to each of these two VvE’s, you will find a detailed explanation of the respective voting instructions below.
1) Beheervereniging Mariastichting
Attendance
As an invitee, you are welcome to attend the meeting and to ask questions and make suggestions there.
However, voting at this meeting is only possible in advance, through the chair or representative of your block VvE.
Voting by proxy
The chair or representative of the VvE your home belongs to (your block VvE) collects your vote by proxy ahead of the meeting.
To make this possible, you need to submit your proxy form, including your voting preference for each agenda item, to your chair/representative before the ALV. The chair takes the submitted proxy forms to the ALV and hands them in to the chair of the meeting before it starts.
Note: Because the VvE Parkeergarage is also regarded as a block VvE, those who own only a parking space and/or storage unit and no home can email their proxy form for the ALV of the Beheervereniging, including their voting preference for each agenda item, to the chair of the VvE Parkeergarage Mariastichting at vveparkeer@hotmail.com
Why every member’s vote counts:
If you do not submit a proxy form to your chair, you cast no vote at all! Every vote counts individually, based on each member’s share of the points.
Important: Don’t forget to fill in your name, your address and your VvE on the proxy form, and to sign it.
Your vote only counts if the proxy form is fully completed and signed. Your vote matters both for the decision-making and for reaching the quorum (quorum = enough votes present or represented for the meeting to make legally valid decisions).
2) VvE Parkeergarage Mariastichting
Please note: the following is only relevant if you own a parking space and/or storage unit and have therefore received an invitation to the ALV of the Parkeergarage Mariastichting.
For the meeting of the VvE Parkeergarage Mariastichting, a different voting procedure applies than for the Beheervereniging.
Attendance
As an invitee, you are welcome to attend the meeting and to ask questions and make suggestions there. Every member of the VvE Parkeergarage can also cast their vote in person, before or during the ALV, by handing in their own voting form.
If you are unable or do not wish to attend the ALV of the VvE Parkeergarage Mariastichting in person, you can also:

You can submit the proxy form for the VvE Parkeergarage in two ways:
Through your chair or another representative:
Authorise the chair of your block VvE, or another representative, to cast your vote at the ALV of the VvE Parkeergarage Mariastichting. To make this possible, you need to submit your proxy form, including your voting preference for each agenda item, to your chair/representative before the ALV.
By email:
You may also send the completed and signed proxy form, including your voting preference for each agenda item, directly to vvebeheer@newomij.nl. Do make sure to do this before the ALV.
