What do I do with my waste and rubbish?
With 378 homes in a relatively small area, it is essential that all residents of the Mariastichting work together to keep our living environment pleasant and clean.
That is why our grounds have special waste containers for general waste, paper and plastic. There are also various green wheelie bins for your organic (GFT) waste.
What if the containers are full?
If a container for general waste is full, there is no need to report this to Spaarnelanden. Spaarnelanden automatically receives an alert overnight when a container is full. The container is then emptied the next working day.
The other containers are emptied according to a fixed schedule. If one of those containers stays full for too long, please report it via the Spaarnelanden website or to our technical manager at APS.
Our technical manager from APS also keeps an eye on this during his periodic rounds of the outdoor grounds.
PLEASE NOTE: Keep our neighbourhood clean and tidy! Never leave cardboard or other waste next to the containers. You risk a hefty fine, and by not doing so you also help prevent unwanted vermin, such as mice and rats, from settling in our neighbourhood.

Waste pass
Every resident of the Mariastichting has received a waste pass from Spaarnelanden, which opens the waste containers mentioned above.
Please note! Since 1 January 2026, the waste pass can ‘only’ be used 260 times per year.
Your remaining balance is shown on the container.
Bulky or surplus household waste
Bulky or surplus household waste can be dropped off any day (except Sunday) between 8.00 and 15.30 at:

The Milieuplein (recycling centre) is only 3.5 km, or a 10-minute drive, from Bellevuelaan.
So do your bit and make good use of it!
