Parking bicycles on the outdoor grounds
Although most residents have access to an underground storage unit, a number of years ago the board of the Beheervereniging received a request to also create a place to park bicycles above ground. After consultation with the Municipality of Haarlem and the boards of the various block VvE’s, it was decided to meet this need.
Abandoned bicycles
As you can see every day, these bicycle racks are used eagerly.
Unfortunately, it is also clear that some bicycles are parked in the racks and then never used again.
If our manager and the boards, during their rounds of the Mariastichting, find that certain bicycles are no longer being used (flat tyres, rust, etc.), these bicycles are tagged with a label asking the owner to remove the bicycle within 6 weeks or to contact the manager.
If this request goes unanswered, the bicycle will be removed.
