What the homeowners’ association (VvE) of the Mariastichting parking garage does
The VvE Parkeergarage Mariastichting is responsible for the management of the underground parking garage at the Mariastichting, including the storage corridors, stairwells and lift to and from the garage. The parking garage has 582 parking spaces and 362 storage units.
Dutch road traffic law applies in the garage, which means everyone must follow the indicated direction of travel and speed limits.
Core activities of the VvE Parkeergarage Mariastichting:
Maintenance: The VvE is responsible for maintaining and, where necessary, repairing all technical installations in the garage. These include, for example, the pass readers, the barriers, the speed gates, the extraction and detection equipment, charging points and security cameras.
Cleaning: The VvE also makes sure that the garage, storage corridors, stairwells and lift to and from the garage are cleaned regularly.
Compliance with regulations: The VvE also oversees compliance with the house rules (huishoudelijk reglement), with the aim of keeping the parking garage clean, tidy and safe.
Representing residents’ interests: The VvE acts as the point of contact for external parties, such as the Municipality of Haarlem.
The technical management of the parking garage has been contracted out to Allround Parking Services of Amsterdam (see the next tab and/or important contacts).
The financial management of the garage has been contracted out to Newomij of Naarden (see menu / important contacts).
