Which general VvE’s are there within the Mariastichting?
The chapter ‘What is a VvE’ explains what a homeowners’ association (VvE) of an apartment complex is. In short, that VvE is responsible for maintaining all the communal parts of an apartment complex, such as the roof, the façade and the lift.
Although the Mariastichting complex consists of several residential blocks, each with its own VvE, there are two further parts that need to be managed by a VvE. After all, every owner is co-owner of a large part of the Mariastichting grounds and co-owner of the underground parking garage. Two general VvE’s are responsible for these, namely the Beheervereniging Mariastichting (management association) and the VvE Parkeergarage Mariastichting (parking garage VvE).
The Beheervereniging Mariastichting therefore focuses specifically on the communal outdoor space and the shared facilities that concern all owners on the grounds.
The VvE Parkeergarage Mariastichting, on the other hand, focuses on the underground parking garage, storage units, stairwells and lift. The parking spaces and storage units are individually parcelled out and are the specific property of an owner.
For these two general VvE’s, the administrative manager Newomij collects a monthly financial contribution from all owners of apartments and/or garages and storage units.
