Aankomst: Sinterklaas komt traditiegetrouw, vanuit Heemstede, per boot over het Spaarne de stad binnen.
Route & Tijd: De exacte aankomsttijd en de route door de binnenstad zijn door de Stichting Intocht Sinterklaas Haarlem nog niet bekendgemaakt.
Traditie: …maar vorige jaren meerde de stoomboot, rond 13.00u aan bij de Koudenhorn / Donkere Spaarne, waarna de optocht via de binnenstad naar de Grote Markt trok.
Praktisch: Kom op tijd en gebruik bij voorkeur de fiets of het openbaar vervoer, aangezien parkeren in het centrum op deze dag erg druk is

The Sinterklaas arrival in Haarlem will take place on Sunday, November 15, 2026.

Arrival: In keeping with tradition, Sinterklaas enters the city by boat, traveling along the Spaarne river from the direction of Heemstede.
Route & Time: The exact arrival time and the route through the city center have not yet been announced by the Sinterklaas Arrival Foundation of Haarlem ( Stichting Intocht Sinterklaas Haarlem ).
Tradition: ….. but last years, the steamboat docked at Koudenhorn / Donkere Spaarne, after which the procession made its way through the city center to the Grote Markt.
Practical Information: Please arrive in good time and, if possible, travel by bicycle or public transport, as parking in the city center will be very difficult on this day.
